Hesana is an artwork created while in a deep state of meditative absorption known as samadhi. Each movement of the pencil is spontaneous and in sync with the breath. While creating this art I entered into deeper and deeper states of bliss. This artwork was first created for my friend to display on a large screen in his Manhattan apartment. The energy behind this artwork is that of love, kinship, friendship old & new, mountain tops, warm fires in the fireplace, san pellegrino, Backgammon, laughter, skiing & hugs.
