Costa Rica is full of life. All around you you see flowers blooming and plants sprouting, but Costa Rica is also full of death. Things grow quickly, but decay with as much speed. In these two images I explore the birth and death of two objects, a banana and a night blooming flower. The green blossom of the banana softening into a yellow and brown fruit. The beautiful bloom of the flower who closes its petals by afternoon. Watching this cycle of life happen so quickly mesmerizes me.
